El tema central de la pelicula Gladiator de Riddley Scott es sin duda uno de los más conocidos de Hans Zimmer, al menos en los últimos años. Una banda sonora épica a la vez que emotiva que funciona perfectamente en el transcurso de la pelicula, y que consigue que veamos a Máximo su protagonista como un héroe de esos que ya no existen.
